Specifically, where is the sensor? I have a DFI SLI-D. Anyone know the max safe temp? I'm getting 62. My processor and northbridge are getting about 50 and 55 under load.

mainboard temp is the temp of the temp of those voltage regulators under the group of 3 of those small heat sinks. Yea on mine too its gets really hot, what i did is use a small fan amd stock one attach it to the side of my heatsink (it turned out to fin just great on the sonic tower) and drive it off the header on the mainboard which has speed regualation. Droped the temps by 10 degrees both idle and load.

Well i think the max temp i saw was around 68C and it was still working fine. I think if it stays bellow 65 it should be fine.
By the way what cpu u using? cause once i started using my dual core and overclocked it thats when it started runnning hot. Before that with single core i rarely seen it above 50.
