In-Ear headphones - suggestions?

Looking for some in-ear headphones under $30 - suggestions for best-bang-for-the-buck?

I've heard good things about them too. Haven't tried them myself, though.

of course, if you REALLY want to spend money, how about some that are custom-fitted to your ears?

The E2Cs are very revealing, unless you have a good source I wouldn't recommend it (onboard/ipod = don't bother). Senheiser has a good earbud around $30, the mx500 or something iirc..? As with all electronics, stay away from Sony - learn from others' mistakes, not your own.

I've only heard the Koss in-ear but compared to my ear plug headphones, the bass was very weak. Are there any good in-ear with good bass response?

theres nothing wrong with the sony ex51/71s canalphones

for the price they are pretty damn nice, better then any earbuds i have ever had

when i was thinking of buying these (and amazon had the 71's for $30 shipped), all I heard were complaints about the cord length of the 71. They said everything was the same except the annoying cord length (too short without extension, too long with).

But i'm not speaking from experience, just what's been said in hot deal forums.

i like the long cord, and you can just wrap it around the thing they provide and make it any length you want

I bought the ex71's from amazon a few months back when they were on sale for 33 dollars, they are pretty nice headphones but like you said the cord is a bit short without the extention on. I mainly got it to go jogging with because regular ear buds kept falling out.

I have my IRiver strapped to my neck and the cord is a tad bit too short because it tugs on the earbuds and when i put the extention on the little connector swings around and pulls the earbuds out.

EngenZerO's e2c earphones

very very sick earphones... imo they are the best... i am now in the midst of saving up for some e5c earphones. definitly worth the money. They have a warm sound with great bass response. The reason why I chose the e2c was due to the fact that they have better bass response than the e3c. They e3c is a tighter sound so less filling. They e3c is more accurtate in the mids and highs, where as the they are a little muddy with the e2c. I would definitly recommend the e2c.
