In ear buds for cycling

I had a lovely pair of earphones that died recently. I am looking to get a new pair (christmas present from me to me) that I can wear while cycling and wondered if anybody had any recommendations.

I would like:

1) Over the ear clips (the old pair were on a rubberised band that joined the two round the back and gave extra support on the back of my head, added bonus only one cable down the side rather than central).

2) Not noise cancelling or blocking (My old ones were noise blocking and cut out too much traffic noise). Do open backed earphones exist? Cycling and occasionally running in Kathmandu is risky enough without blocking out traffic noise.

3) Reasonable value. I can budget to about £100-£150 but don't want to end up paying over the odds when a cheaper pair may be better value.

Obviously looking round the audio review websites and magazines but wondered if anybody had any recommendations

I've said it before: Bose headphones are the one product they make that I'd consider buying (and have bought in the past). While not the BEST, they're at least respectable, unlike their other products.
