my NEC 3500 is capable of burning faster than 2.4x, how do i make it burn faster. i like the convinence of it burning for me after backing up. i guess i could alway use nero myself if there's no other way.
It looks like you'll just have to burn with Nero after you get the VIDEO_TS files extracted... I've never seen further burning options within DVDShrink.
In DVD shrink there is a option to select burn speed right after you select the full backup then it will ask where to back up to and what bruner to use and there is a row of tabs across the top that has burn options and in there is a option to control burn speed set to maxium and it it select the max the DVD will burn at. If it is a 8X DVD and is a cheap brand it will only burn at 8X but if a good brand like TY it will give the 16X speed also. I have only used 8x as I have cheap media but just got some Fuji TY medio the other day so I will see what speed it will burn at with my new NEC 3500
