Hi all, just joined & first post so hope I'm in the right area.
Have a solid but vanilla home network:
Linksys EA9500
Netgear GS748TP
Linksys SE2500's .... 4 of them
QNAP NAS 410+ .... old and low CPU power
Panasonic DT30 TV's .... 6 of them, all same, all RJ45 connected
Sonos CA's .... 6 of them, all RJ45 connected
Laptop & coupe smartphones on wifi
Has worked a treat for ages but recent weeks (before Christmas) I am loosing the DLNA connection at the TV's ... I have been using QNAP's Twonky from the NAS....basic but been working great.
But now I sometimes get great access to the media server on the NAS and sometimes I don't.
Issue / fault moves from TV to TV .... one day it's fine the next day I can't even see the connection.
Have checked RJ45 connections, have checked TV configurations, have reset routers and switches to factory defaults but still the problem floats around.
I know the NAS is past it's best performance wise and could use upgrading but would that really cause this intermittent issue?
Would really appreciate any input or suggestions.....been working through this for ages now and pulling hair out.
I don;t mind replacing stuff if it can definitely fix issues. I just cannot get the problem to stick....good or bad.
Thanks in advance
