I am having major problems trying to overclock, heres my setup:

Enermax 350w ps
1.6a w/ epox 4g4a - stock cooling
512 corsair xms 2700

The highest I have been able to clock is, 135fsb +.5, agp +.25, ram +.25 2.5-3-3-6

Im trying to obtain a stable 2.2 to 2.4 clock, but I am having no luck what so ever, if you can, please give me a little help

not all chips can overclock that high. heat or the wrong voltage can make your cpu slower. take a minute to list what your computer is running at. the voltage, the temps, your memory mhz, etc. mine goes to 2.35 and i need more than 1.6volts to go higher.
good luck

Those numbers...you are posting what voltage increase you are using?

135FSB +.5....you mean +.05 right? That would be 1.55 Vcore. You may need more. Go up to 1.6 - 1.7 and see what happens. Leave the AGP voltage stock. You dont need any extra. +.25 is probobly more ram voltage than you need as well. Start @ 2.6.

Also, do you have your PCI/AGP locked @ 33/66?

I actually do have my pci/agp locked at 33/66, ill put my agp voltage to zero, raise my cpu volt, and try out those ram settings. Thanks a lot for the help guys, The last cpu i overclocked was my pentium 200 to 233, im pretty new at this, thanks again for helping.

I have been able to boot and get sandra memory scores for the following...

142 fsb @ 1.7v 2.27ghz used 3:4 - This setting was a little unstable, after i ram ss mem test again, it crashed right after it finished,
DDR378 @ 2.7v 2.5-3-3-6 im thinking that it might be that i need to up my memory volt.
Sandra Mem - 2865/2862

142 fsb @ 1.7 2.27ghz used 4:3
DDR 355 @ 2.7v 2.5-3-3-6
Sandra Mem - 2696 / 2693

144 fsb @ 1.7 2.3ghz used 4:3
DDR360 @ 2.7v 2.5-3-3-6
Sandra Mem - 2733/2729

146 fsb @ 1.7 2.34ghz used 4:3
DDR365 @ 2.7v 2.5-3-3-6
Sandra Mem - 2775/2770

Now my question is, should i go for lower cpu speed and higher mem speed, or the opposite? I want to get the best performance, and i guess cpu speed doesn't matter that much if you are getting a 3000+ score in sandra? Thanks for the help!
