anyone here know of any good methods of protecting the system from being jacked? I've had a friend who got his system jacked overnight. So even with the unit folded up in your dash, people can still look in your window and see that its a dvd player no?maybe a makeshift covering over it that'll hide it? I drive a '03 Honda pilot EX and i don't think its easy to fabricate a nice cover that will go over it.
 
Wait...the fairy guide from the n64 Zelda games is in your dashboard? That's your problem right there.
 
I have a double din unit with the full screen and it just sits there in the dash. It's been almost a year and nothing has happened yet. Knock on wood. I really should let my insurance know that I have it in there so they'll replace it if it's stolen.
 
haha its not ghetto where Im living, but next year (hopefully) when i move to LA for lawschool I'd need some sort of protection
