In real life you need the best from a new game so I would recommend a 2000 cpu, 512 mb ram, GeForce4 Ti4800 128 ddr or ATI Radeon equivalent.
The more power the better but not essential with this game."

Found that on some website, but it looks accurate.

wtf? 50/60 fps at max detail on a system with 256megs ram and gf4 4200??

i can't get more than 20fps on max payne2 at max detail and i have 512megs ram and gf4 4200

yeah, i would say it's inaccurate!

You guys are forgetting a determining factor: RESOLUTION. Running something at 1600x1200 with low features as opposed to running at 640x480 with high features isn't going to give you the same result, duh, regardless of hardware.

The endless delay on this game is getting RIGHT on my tits.
Christ you guys are impatient... the game was announced about 7 months ago and you're complaining about delays?

You are wrong.
When was it announced then? Yeah they said it was gonna be out by holiday of last year (or first it was August I think), but who cares? I'd rather them take a long time and get it right rather then rushing it out the door just to make their 'deadline'. Why do you think Blizzard never puts release dates on anything?

It's because they announce these games, do things to get everybody talking about them... tout them as the greatest things ever... say how they're going to change everything... then it's delay after delay. I would rather they waited until they had a finished or 90% finished product before announcing it... I don't see any reason why a game would be delayed many, many months.

Generating buzz around a product is good for sales. No buzz, no sales. Granted with HL2 they really didnt need to, but look what happens to games like Beyond Good and Evil. It's one of the best action/adventure games out there right now, and oops! they stopped production because it didnt sell and no one knew about it. It's part of the selling process.
