I want to emphasize that it link I posted is full of insights I have some sense are real and as such point in a direction unappreciated by most people, not to mention all of the negative consequences of all the typical Western reactions to elegantly clothed Gurus. I believe the speaker, beyond superficial stereotypes that always come up when someone who has something real to say will be met with such reactions, I did say in my original post that in order to devote time to hearing what is said one would need to feel some sense of frustration with the state of things.
In my experience such feelings of need are smothered by the self importance we feel in being engaged with, let’s call it saving the world. The ego is happy to flatter itself by in being engaged in some important true cause and this requires a focus on blaming something out there.
Therefore perhaps you can spare me the reasons why you don’t watch the clips.
In my opinion the pain people suffer through is immense but suppressed. There are many for whom, for one reason or another, are like the princess and the pea, can’t sleep comfortable with one 39 mattresses under her bed. Who they are, when they will notice their need, who can say. This is just a message in a bottle thrown into the sea.
There is more than one kind of happiness.
