I have been playing the GLA Campaign and so far so good, but in Mission 5 after I kill all the americans, it wonts say victory! It just keeps going on and on. Aren't you just supposed to destroy all american forces thus taking back your bunkers???????????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are supposed to take back your bunkers in an effort to gain control..........this is after you hit up the small towns for the U.N. rations and money.....

oh you actually have to research capture with your barracks, then use the "capture" command on the troops to capture the bunkers

i played all 3 sides

YAH! Good game... too short, just like most good games.

not to mention no storyline whatsoever

none of the successive missions were even related to each previous.

I stopped playing this game. after I finished the China 7th mission campaign. 7 missions only? Am i missing something? the game doesn't seem very balanced. Go play Age of Mythology, its much more interesting and better stradegy options :)

Great graphics, no plot, minimal tech tree/units/upgrades, too short. Back to Age of Mythology for me.

It runs horrible on my machine. I wouldn't think it would either since I have a midline rig right now. 1.7ghz P4 with a 64 MB Radeon VE and 256 mb Rambus. I dont know if its my vid card or ram but I can barely run the game. Thats why I don't play it.

Really? I run at 1152 with medium detail and it runs fine with me, excep for some slow down. I am running a 2000xp+ with 512 DDR, Radeon 7500 32 megs... what resolution are you running?

800x600 Turn the details pretty low too. I fear it might be my Vid card?

I have a Celeron 1000 with 512 ram, gf 3 ti 200 overclocked and the game runs fine at 1024x768. Yes it could be faster, but for single play it's fine except in the rare occasions of perhaps a lot of CPU troops moving and screwing up their pathfinding and things like that.

Yeah, pretty big difference between RadeonVE and 7500. I think a better video card like the 8500 should give you good performance.

I was so frustrated at the performance on my machine that I just gave up.

On many occassions I had troops/tanks/etc... heading over to a battle and they would get picked off by the enemy. I found it difficult to manage my troops as they would go too slowly from one place to another.

BTW I was running a P4 1.8 w/ 512 PC 2700 and a Radeon 8500DV.

it runs fine with my p4 2.0, 640mb pc2100 ddr, and gf3 ti200. But when i constructed 12 scud storms and launched them simultaneously, my framerate dropped from 70 to about 3

Seems like it should run fine on that... I had the same as that except an 8500LE, and a 1.6ghz AthlonXP, and it remained at a good frame rate at all times. Not great frame rate, but perfectly playable and no big slowdowns.
