In BF1942 what does MSF mean?

When you want to know you frame rate you type "console.showfps 1" It'll show fps: xxx
but below that it shows MSF: xxx.

What does MSF mean?

Ok, i'm still confused. My FPS shows anywhere from 40-90, and works fine. The MSF varies from about 8-25. I notice (or at least i think i noticed ) When the MSF goes up, the game gets a little choppy. So can someone explain this?

I've actually got a good guess:

Miniumum Sustained Framerate

The number after FPS probably shows your average frame rate, and the MSF probably shows the minimum frame rate.

I haven't checked out those other forums, b/c I really don't want to register just to post one thread. Plus I really don't want to register with EA or anyother website that would send spam(not saying EA would, but...)

I'm not sure this is the answer or not...but I play a game called WWII Online...and when I pull up the FPS on that game...it does show the FPS on the top line and then it shows the packets on the second...so maybe its the packet information...
