are they allowed now? i've seen a slow rise in the number of these types of posts. i posted aboout this in OT but it got locked, someone suggested to post here since i guess it was flame bait over there.

people used to be temp banned for this back in the day. i don't think i've ever performed the "I B F L" type post, but i remember seeing a lot of members punished for it. is the rule gone? forgotten? is it still enforced? bleh. it just irks me to see those posts cause of the harsh treatment that was threatened for them before does not seem to be holding true now.

No, it is still the rule. We do not always catch these posts, but when we do we deal with it.

Ok, the fact is, I need a nap... but I can't help but compare this to the highway speed limits... Posted at 55, everybody goes 75. Hard as hell to eliminate them unless you ruffle a ton of feathers. State patrol doesn't have the funding in the same way that the mods don't have the manpower/time.
