In arm wrestling, what muscles/parts of the arm are used most?

I just want to see if using my pull-up bar on a daily basis will help arm wrestling at all, hehe. Also, what other excercises do you reccomend for the arm I can do without any special equipment? Pushups, pull ups, anything else?

Arm wrestliing is extremly dangerous. I broke my brothers arm once and a freinds another time. Radial compoud fractures are extremly painful too.. Please don't do it.

The best part muscles to work are the forearm muscles. My uncle was an arm wrestling champ in Turkey, he visited and stayed with us for 2 weeks (my parents refused to let him stay in a hotel) His forearms were huge and he barely had any bicep muscles. That's pretty much the secret. :)

He was pretty damn good, he helped me figure out that; even though I am a rightie, I am a better wrestler with my left hand

Do push ups with your fingers, it builds strenght in the wrist and has the same benefits as regular push ups (its kind of hard, but you don't have to do it alot)

Get 2x500g tomato sauce cans and do reverse bicep curls, where you hold the can outward (palms away from chest) exposing the forearm mucle. This can easily be done 12x4 reps. As you get better, get weights that are 1kl, 2.5kl and up to 7.5kl. Its good get it big, but not too big.(looks scary.. popeye scary  )

Also tricep press (regular push ups will do, or light bench press) A strong tricep helps you stabilize your hand and gives a real advantage in a match.
