In America when is crime not a crime, a riot not a riot, an insurrection not an insurrection?

In this country when you are a white Republican. So sayeth many Republican leaders. This turd is the latest. They are trying to convince people what they saw and heard didn't happen. The (no pun intended) whitewashing history is underway. Those are not the droids you are looking for. What rioting? We love police. Blue lives matter. We are comfortable when white people commit crime.

And if you're part of the wealthy/powerful elite, then it's a coup, right? 😛

The pubs started their usual dragging every other subject in not related directly to Jan. 6 th and Rep. Tim Ryan, R-Ohio was having none of it. He told them there needs to be 2 parties for this country to function, and one of them in not living in reality. Debate pretty much died off, real quick. Far out!

I am looking forward to HJS not posting new topics anymore. Not because they lack insight into stupid shit happening every fucking week but because as a country, we are actually improving. I am not holding my breathe. I just hope he doesn't get carpal tunnel.

Everyone who was damaged by being put down and shown violence as children will carry with them a feeling of worthlessness they could not have survived consciously bearing. The worse the feeling the greater the defensiveness toward recognition. For such the ego is just a means by which one can see oneself as worthy and all that makes people really really worth anything in that phony world is power and money and the imagined envy of others. For the broken, those who suffer Stockholm syndrome the most, the Republican party is a perfect place, a place to experience an ego affirming mass psychosis where the worthless feeling can feel like the chosen.

Any fiction will do because our true selves dies as children and the pain of that if remembered is like reliving death in the present, as if that is exactly what is going to happen. Thus lies and more lies become the only way to stay alive, denial at almost any cost.

The greater the self contempt the more contemptible one becomes in avoiding becoming conscious of it which just means this is how we create what we fear. We become the thing we fear, being contemptible because it is what we unconsciously feel.

The Repubs have been living in a world full of self-serving lies and distortions from way back in the day, in large part due to their leaders having the need of the votes from their working class and their poor in order to get elected and remain there yet having to heavily rely on the very wealthy to fill their campaign coffers, of whom have thoroughly corrupted these Repub pols into servitude.

Ergo, Repub legislators have had to constantly lie to their working class gullibles by feeding them chunks of cheap red meat like 2A issues, divisive racist tropes, maintaining "traditional values", dog whistling all manner of issues that can keep their voters from hearing the truths and facts of where their leader's true loyalties lie that would turn their rank and file members against them.

The list goes on and all of it to do with denying their middle class and their poor things that would cost monies these corrupted jerkoffs would much rather divert to their very wealthy benefactors.

It's the biggest scam job in the nation's history being pulled against the everyday common folks of our country who have been lulled into voting against their own best interests in favor of things like "loyalty to party" and other such deceitful ploys.

Speaking of self serving lies and distortion...

"Planned in plain sight": Why Donald Trump makes no attempt to hide his insurrectionist plots | Salon.com

"The U.S. Capitol Police had specific intelligence that supporters of President Donald Trump planned to mount an armed invasion of the Capitol at least two weeks before the Jan. 6 riot," the Washington Post reports, "but a series of omissions and miscommunications kept that information from reaching front-line officers targeted by the violence."

The report itself is incredibly bureaucratic and, being bipartisan, overly delicate with the fragile feelings of Republicans who continue to support Trump despite his overt incitement of the insurrection. But the most important and remarkable aspect of the report is how it lays out that Capitol intelligence officials downplayed the threat of violence, even though, to quote the report author Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich., "The attack was, quite frankly, planned in plain sight."

Must have snorted a truck load of Adderall for this.

Viewers stunned as Trump goes off on "insane" Fox Business rant | Salon.com

Trump's new baseless claim that Facebook paid to rig the election with fake ballots triggered immediate mockery and bemusement on social media.

And then there's those millions of Trump cult minions who, after listening to another one of Trump's whoppers becoming outraged at Facebook for perpetrating such a diabolical plot against a sitting president who got falsely accused of losing his bid for reelection all while Trump is giggling at the thought of making piles of easy money selling lies for "cash contributions to his defense fund".

If there's one thing Trump has learned from his "service to the nation" is that there's millions of suckers and losers having no problem dying to defend their country just as there are many millions more losers and suckers who would believe every stupefying lie he could possibly come up with no matter how unbelievable he could make them out to be.

Another example of how right wing media is downplaying the insurrection. Look at Megan Kelly's description...
Kelly agreed that "there is no question" the media misrepresented the event, making it out to be "so much worse than it actually was," though she did describe some of the mayhem caught on video.

"We've all seen the video of people, like, screaming in the face of cops, being totally disparaging, and defecating on the floor of the U.S. Capitol, and lawmakers were understandably afraid

Notice how she left out the following...

beatings
kickings
cops attacked with bear strength pepper spray
taserings (one cop had a heart attack)
chants of hang Mike Pence
the fact these traitors were carrying wrist restraints to kidnap members of Congress
pipe bombs found

Yet at the same time she is claiming the media portrayed the riot worse then it was.

Seriously Meg???

It's all easily negated by them by screaming liberals want to defund the police. Their brains are well programed to accept this as reality.

I was just talking with my republican uncle last night about this. He doesn't consider it an insurrection, but he does consider what happened in Portland and other cities as insurrections.

They are brain washed.
