In all honesty, how old you are? and how old is your maturity?

Chronologically 18; most of the people I work with and know say that my maturity level is mid 30s at minimum.
What's worse is that I look like I'm at least 30. My brother is 28, and if you stand us side-by-side, we're a mirror image of each other. (Side note, I'm adopted. I have no idea how my brother looks exactly like me since we're in no way blood related.)
See me here, and my brother here.

age in years: 22
age in wisdom years: 50
emotional maturity: 14

People who don't know me well think I'm a lot older. When I go out I get more attention from older chicks, ones around 25-28... more than girls my own age. I pretty much look down on the ones my age anyways. Around certain people though, I act like I'm 12. Pretty much saying the stupidest things, my secretly tongue-in-cheek avant-garde humor. Ok I am dreaming.

Someday, your parents will finally reveal the dark family secret that you are not adopted but instead, the biological son of your mother and father.

THAT would be an interesting revelation. I didn't even know my adopted parents until 2 years ago (and I'm gonna turn 19 soon).

<edit>Not that I would mind, though. I love them & I'd like to have that little bit more of a tie to them. </edit>
