In a War Between the US and Canada

If the US decided that she needed to go to war with Canada, and no other countries joined the fight, how long would it take for America to win?

Could we rely on Quebec and other French influences to expedite their surrender?

Or could they possibly hide in little holes in the Yukon snow and slow down our progress for months?

This is a pretty flexible question. So if you think that we would need to stomp out all military resistance before we could declare victory that?s fine. If you feel we?d need to replace their government with a stable democracy first, that?s fine too. And if you think victory only requires an official surrender by their king that?s your choice.

I guarantee you that both the Canadian military and the US military have thought this through even though as far as I am concerned it would be almost unthinkable.

I don't think there's a word in the English language that can accurately describe the level of your stupidity...

Why would we attack our northern brothers? I'm sure if we ask really nicely and leave Quebec behind that they'll come on their own.
