What's the difference between the little 99$ GPS units you can get and the ones that immediatly go up to like 300-500$?

Nice larger color screens, more memory/features and better map capabilities.

more details on maps, memory, and maybe some speed. My HP6515 GPS/phone/PDA rules @ $200.

Basically more features in both hardware and software. It all depends on what you are going to be doing if a $99 will work or if you need to step up to more exspensive models.
