In a cable modem environment, which software tool is best for ICS ?

I have a cable modem and two computers who need simultaneous access to the internet for browsing, email and Napster. My choices I believe are Microsoft's ICS, Winproxy, or some other proxy server.

I've tried MS's ICS and was unimpressed because I couldn't get email connection for the client pc although I think I did get napster working.

Also, I may want to try my hand at game playing through a local network which now adds the question. How can I use the internet as a local network to play games with a relative. I usually don't play computer games but that just might be fun.

For email connection you need the full address of the mail server - using just "mail" won't do it.

obenton is correct you will need to put the full name or IP of your mail server. On the main gateway/server machine ping mail to see what your mail server is.
