In 24-hour time format....

it is 23:09 now, in one hour it will be 00:09

there is no 24:00 , after 23:59:59 comes 00:00:00

I always thought they didn't use the colon in military time... so it'd be 0001. That looks funny, but 0600 does not.

Edit: To clarify, I was pointing out the retardedness of 24:01, NOT saying that was the right answer.

I had a long time Sergeant in the Army write some guys up about a "disturbance in the barracks at 24:30".
