We got a load (and I use that term loosely) of instant messenger proggys out there. Is there any real difference between them. Any ideas which is best as far as minimized cpu load and feature package? Also, ne1 got any idea if any of these IM hosts screen messeges, or have that capability? Or is it pretty well PC-PC communication, and not through some server? Thanks for your thoughts...

They are all on different networks and each one tries to keep the others from working with it. AIM messages go through the server unless you use direct connect, but there is no good reason to do that really. ICQ sends information from PC to PC if possible. I dont know and dont care about most of the others.
