I bought a Dell 2707.

$934 or something with 5 yr completecare coverage.

Tell me I should return this. I can't play any games on my 7800GT at 1920x1200 anyways.

Thats why I keep my credit card balance up to help prevent this.

Just booked a cruise to keep myself from buying another gun.

This thing won't even fit on my crappy Ikea desk. I need to take one of the shelves off probably to use the 2707. I might just try to justify this purchase with my parents, take the 2707 home, and let them use it since our 2405's pixel pitch is a little too small that they have to compensate by raising font dpi. That way they can get a display they would like better, and I'll take the 2405.... Either way it's an upgrade from my 19" Viewsonic VP191b which was honestly a great panel, but today's S-PVAs just destroy anything from back in the day.

Damn, you can almost get a 42" 1080p HDTV for that price. I've seen the Vizio GV42 42" 1080p LCD that I have on sale for around $1079 before.

Cancel the charge.

People who return items that are in perfect working order simply because they don't want it are complete tool bags.

You bought it, keep it.

And that's the thing about buying things in the US. Part of the price includes service, warranty, and return policy. In other places in the world, you can't just return because you don't like. How about the people who just keep returning their 2407s because they don't like the banding? I bet you 99.9% of all users would be fine with it, and if the 2407 wasn't as popular as it is now, people wouldn't have such a large userbase to criticize all its small flaws. Anyways, if Dell wanted to change their return policy about these things, they could, but until they do so, there's a reason they give you 21 days to return stuff. And it's not like the panel goes into the trash dump. It just goes as probably a refurb model that someone will get once they warranty their 2707.

Which applied to damaged or defective items. The reason things are so expensive is because jack offs buy something, decide it was a poor choice and take it back.
