Ok, I ordered a 3870k while it was $15 gift card with it from newegg, I plan on getting a 6670 from Microcenter, it comes with 2 games. but one has ddr5 1gig Asus and another has ddr3 2gig Diamond. Which should I get??

Any ideas on a good case, this will be in my living room, Its a build for wife and kids to play SWTOR with me (takes too much of my time, so im getting them involved now)

As for a motherboard was thinking ASUS (mostly good stuff from them) or gigabyte micro-ATX a75 board.

Ram is a mostly a no brainer, 1866 ddr3 8gigs probably Mushkin, Kingston, crucial or Team Xtreem, what ever, only question is do i get 1.5v or 1.65v ??? with this setup??

PwrSupply? this I dont really know, i just dont want to spend more than $100. XFX maybe.

Harddrive, Im going cheap here, whatever is on sale, 500g - 1t sata. Suggestions??

Keyboard/mouse combo? any of um wireless that work 5-7 feet away?

wireless card, one of those USB thingys or a pci card???? The router will in the room under this one.

I'm going bang for buck here. Any input will be appreicated. Thanks ahead of time guys.

I'm not sure about the other stuff, but the 1gb ddr5 version of the 6670 is going to be faster than the 2gb ddr3. The gpu is not fast enough to take advantage of the 2gb.

All that said, a 5770/6770 would be a better buy for not much more money.

If you already bought it, it doesn' t matter...

But Microcenter has the fx 8120 for $199.99 w\ 2 solid motherboard options free w\ it. When I was shopping for a cpu it just seemed like the best deal since it's a $200+ cpu, and basically getting a $100-125 mobo for free with it as opposed to a $120-150 lesser cpu and then having to get a mobo on top of that.

I dont have a micro center close by, so im limited to what i can get. So do you think the 3870k is a bad buy?? ~$140. Cause instead of opening the box i could pay restocking fee and get a 2400 intel. Would be better???
