Anyone tried this? If so, any luck? And how much RAM you gots? Windows 2000 Pro?

I did it and it doesn't cause any problems, can't say I noticed any performance increase either.

This is a pretty common tweak on most of the Win2000/XP tweaking sites. It is also included in "X-setup" so you can enable it without having to manually edit the registry.

I use it but I didn't notice any performance difference either. I've got 512Mb of RAM on Win2000 sp2 and XP pro.
