We should be able to easily filter the BST Forum by category.

Why do I have to sift through Trades/Buyers .. when I just want to look at the items that are being sold.

Using search is not a good method.

Each thread poster MUST select Buy, Sell or Trade.. thus making the backend of my request much easier to be done.

Please give it some thought. I'm sure there are other, more important suggestions than this.. but this sure would be nice.

The areas were separated at one time, it did not go well.

Forcing ALL users to comply to make searching slightly better doesn't seem like a big benefit to me.

I think you're missing what forcing them to do..

They would simply be forced to select, Buy, Sell or Trade next to the Subject edit box.

This is already being done by, say, 60-70% of the group, but still, without everyone doing it, nothing could be done about being able to say.. "Hey show me just for sale items"

By default, they would continue to be listed as they are now, but have the added functionality of seeing just one.

Hopefully this has cleared up my suggestion. By no means, do I wish to see them separated.

No, you are overlooking the extra workload that would cause the staffers by having to FORCE users to do this. All for what? Minimal gains? Most people find what they are looking for rather easily.
