I'm currently using windows XP and FAT32.
Now, my problem is that I'm only showing 9 gigs used when I do an actual "all files on this drive are so large" yet when I check the properties of the hard drive it tells me that 11 gigs are being used currently. That's a 2 gig discrepency. Earlier today I had 2.2 gigs free space on my hard drive, I rebooted and it immediately showed 1.2 gigs free is all. previously it was only a 1 gig discrepency... which I figured was just like the swap file not showing up or such. However, another gig gone from nowhere. Does anyone have an explination for this? My system restore is not on in any way. Would changing to NTFS fix this problem? I'm completely vexed.
thank you in advance.
