I have a Pentium 4 northwood 1.6ghz computer on an Asus p4s333-m motherboard. Every day I have a lot of trouble booting up. After 4 or 5 seconds powering on it powers off. I have changed the power supply and battery and upgraded my bios and it hasn't made any difference.
After the failures to power on, when it finally catches and does power on, it takes me to a bios screen that says something like that it tried to start up at an improper frequency combination. The freqency settings I remember from the two different settings were 2100 (there was an option of I think 2600 or 2700) and another setting I remember was 100mhz by I think 133 and I had it set on manual. What are the correct settings I need or is something wrong with my motherboard?
