ugh what a nightmare. basically, a VP at the company I work for used camtasia and a cheap dv camera and edited a video that is supposed to go out to some very important people - it looks like crap.. I was 'assigned' to 'fix' it. my issue at the moment, is when I try to import a .wmv file (should be 50 minutes, entire thing plays FINE in media player) into premiere pro 2.0, premiere thinks it's 21 minutes.

WTF would cause that? I have the latest windows media 9.1 encoding junk installed...

just curious why it would cost you your job? it's not like you originally used camtasia to get the original footage.
