Importing user settings in Win2K

Hey everyone, They say you don't want to stay logged in as a adminstrator in Win2K, so I added a new user with guest rights but all my settings from the other are not there. Is there a way to import user settings from one user to another so I don't have to setup everything again? Thanks in advance............Stress.

Mr.STress,

If you want to be Guest or Tom or JO, assign Poweruser rights or Backup Operator or both, which is next to admin. in permissions.

You can create the new account... log in once using the new account, log out, log back in with Administrator (whew!), copy the contents of the Desktop, and Favorites folders under the /Documents and Settings/Administrator (or whomever) and put them in the appropriate locations for the new user. I don't know if this will also copy the theme, background, sounds, etc, but its a start.
