Satire and humor have a protected and revered place in criticism of government.
Nationalism is a bad way.

In the end a joke's a joke... don't get bent out of shape... if you can't laugh at governmental buffoonery, they've won.

I can laugh and I don't think Bush (who I voted for) is doing a good job. But I am sure if Kerry had won, we'd be speaking Farsi or French by now.

Like we soooo spoke Farsi or French during Clinton's term.

I'll say it once and I'll say it again. Clinton was the best president for the working man (middle class down) ever.

If he were president, I can almost guarantee you that gas would not be 3 bucks a gallon and that New Orleans would have been handled competently - lets see Clinton had a FEMA director with experience and arguably the best FEMA director ever, James Lee Witt.

We would not be in a sinkhole of a war now, either. He WOULD have kicked Al Queda's butt though. I'm for eradicating Al Queda - but I am firm in my belief that invading Iraq was a total mistake.

O yea, there would be more jobs and the economy would be doing better, too.

I went to school when they taught civics. They taught me about oppressive government policy, the public's right to speak out against it, and how to question authority and never take whim of a politician at face value. Yep, I had a kick ass civics teacher.
