Beta releases and pre-releases of IE7 screw up Norton/Symantec script and updater. Here it is from Symantec:
Norton products will not work correctly with IE7 Beta2 at the moment, and that running IE7 Beta 2 in combination with Norton products may result in failure to obtain security updates.

So install internet explorer 5.5 or 6.0

After that install the script hosts from the below link:
Script

Afer that see whether the script error message is there or not.

Of course without E7 , MPlayer 11 wont work correctly,so had to rollback that one too.

An easy solution would be to uninstall all the Norton software on your system and use better alternatives. But that's just me. I like to live in danger, so I don't install any spyware, virus, firewall protection programs on my system. If they get me, I'll just format and clone the good copy, and have a clean system back in 10 minutes.

Another issue I found with IE7 is Dreamweaver would always forget site logins that have been stored in its site manager. This was documented by Macromedia and last I checked, there was still no fix.
