THis is redicoulous. I was having trouble getting their telco 211 VoIP box to work (it was working, then the DATA side failed inteitemntly then alltogether, wghile the voice still worked).

I called their tech support, and was talking to a 'level' 2 tech, he told me to restore the box to defaults. I did and it wiped all the SIP config for the voice functionality.

DataNet has an auto config server, buit those addy's were ereased too.

If anyone has this service through DataNet, could you go into your VoIP box (local ip is 192.168.101.1 or 192.168.100.1) and go to the WAN section on the right, and then the AutoConfiguration sub section. I basically need all the info on that page.

Thanks in advance and a :cookie: to anyone that gets me this info.

Their customer service doesn't have the ip address to their own auto-config server address?

i cant call out, the box's voice functionality is dead.

Otherwise id just ask them.

I sent an email to their customer support peeps.

THeir corporate offices are actually like a 15min drive from my house, so i may just go pay em a visit.

Your original posting was 30 minutes ago and the place you can drive to get it fixed is 15 minutes away.

What's wrong with this picture.
