Well, I usually don't write in caps but in hopes of having people recognize the importance of this thread, I decided to make it stand out as much as possible.

All of the people that have purchased the XFX 6600GT from buy.com are eligible for instant rebates since we (customers) have not been able to send in the rebates due to the lack of a UPC. By instant rebates, I mean that buy.com is willing to refund 45$ (30$ rebate + 15$ rebate). All you have to do is give them a call, tell them that you purchased the 6600GT, provide the item order number, and then notify them that you weren't able to submit the rebates due to the lack of a UPC barcode. They will then inform you that they will refund you 45$ in the origional payment that you submitted (visa, paypal, etc).

I just wanted the information to be visible to everyone that purchased the card. If I was to post in the origional thread, someone may assume that I actually was giving feedback about the card or something similar. I want everyone to get justification for a rebate that most probably wouldn't have been able to receive.

If you want, I will delete the thread but think about it, this thread is only taking up a small portion of the hot deals section, and is more valuable then most of the other topics brought up.
