Import Tax for Austrailia???

Ok I might sell a digital camera to someone in australia. They want to know how much extra shipping is gonna cost them. I know how to calculate that using USPS online service.

But what about the import tax? Say i send the camera, in a small box, Reg Mail. What is the import tax? If it matters it would be valued at 300 bucks.

Normally they hit you with import tax for electronics goods worth more than AU$400.

Simply write the value of the camera as AU$300 instead of US$300, and let the buyer know that before you send.
