First, is it worth it to import save games from W1 into W2 both enhanced ed (not Steam)? Also, W1 is on a different computer than W2, though the W1 game and saved games are all on computer 1. What is the procedure for importing save game(s) into W2? And which save game to import...the last save at the end or?

Haven't played W2 yet because I got immersed in Oblivian world while new computer was being built. Any thoughts would be helpful. Also, REALLY looking forward to W3!:)

Thanks,

Whether it's worth it or not is up to you. If you want the continuity of your choices and their consequences from the first game, then by all means, import.

And yes, you'd import the last save. When you boot up the Witcher 2 for the first time and choose New Game, you're going to see the import option. Then all you have to do is point it to the right location on your HDD/SSD and voila!

If I remember correctly that is :)

ok...but since W1 is on the old computer (1), I'm assuming I would have to install the W1 game on computer 2 (where W2 is) first, add in the saves and then add to W2? I don't think I can just import the last save game from W1 by itself to computer 2 and then add to W2 ...or can I?

No, all you'd need to do is go to the save game location (it's a sub folder named "gamesaves" located in the Witcher folder which is located in your Windows documents folder) and save the last dated game save on something like a USB thumb drive or any kind of media and then just upload it to your new computer
