All of you who want Al Franken to resign, are you onboard?

Personally, I think this is such a grave and complex matter -- how long was the pubic hair on the Coke he gave Anita Hill? -- that we should step back and take our time on this . . . no action before 2020, or maybe 2024, depending. ;) :D

Impeachment is a high bar in the Senate. Adding justices to SCOTUS can be done with 50 votes.

Franken deserves to receive treatment that would be equal to what Trump receives. Whatever happens to Franken should also happen to Trump.

So let's see how this game of double standards that the Repubs so love to play at resolves itself in this regard.

Dump keeps proving his critics correct, and those that support him keep vigorously demonstrating their cognitive dissonance regarding yet another hot button issue. I love it.

This demented orange fuck is so predictable, look at him take that Franken bait. How many times can one man throw egg in his own face? Hilarious.

So the Democrats have been playing this dirty game for 27 years now? Of course they're better at it, they have so much more practice.

*edit* sorry, i forgot about the obligatory "whatabout" link.
http://time.com/3713264/joe-biden-stephanie-carter-shoulder-rub/

"The most recent victim is Stephanie Carter. Her husband, Ashton Carter, was sworn in as the new defense secretary. As Ashton spoke at the podium, Biden rubbed Stephanie’s shoulders and whispered in her ear. She is only the latest in a series of women inappropriately groped by the vice president, America’s “Creepy Uncle Joe” as people stood by and watched. One of the more awkward moments from the Joe Biden inappropriate behavior reel is his whispering, grabbing, and ultimately trying to kiss Delaware Senator Chris my excellent compatriot’ daughter Maggie. She is 13. "

I'll try to do better next time.

I'm starting to get the impression that there's fear Biden will run on 2020. It's never too soon to start the character assassination, I always say.

The "creepy Uncle Joe" story was from 2015. So I doubt it, if anything it was the Democratic Party warning him not to upset Hillary's run.

I can accept that if you pulled it from your own memory, but if you were recently reminded of it by seeing it recently brought up then I will feel justified by my claim. And if you tell me it’s something you remembered from bact there yourself then I am the one mistakened because I will take your word for it.

Why would we want to remove one of the most ablest of Justices of the last 50 years for someone who lied for political purposes? I suppose a Marxist would want to see that happen so not surprised I suppose.

While I was well aware of Vice-President Biden's penchant for handling women way back then, this particular story from 2015 and some other things was unknown to me until I looked for it. It was just serendipitous that this establishment Democrat hit piece on Biden showed up.

Do you think Franken should resign?

Do you think he should? If the bar is that Franken should resign, then Thomas should too. That's my point here.

So . . . do you think Franken should resign? And if so, do you or don't you think Thomas should as well?

Then I should ask if the search piece was dated back in 2015 or recently reposted. My suspicion that Biden will be targeted and a smear attempt made now owing to recent indications that he may run would mean that others are digging up old dirt and reposting it for today's talking points. Don't mean to appear argumentative, I don't mind being wrong, but I do like to dot all my t's and cross all my i's.

No, it was a Time magazine piece from 2015, not reposted or anything that I know about.

Hell, if Franken should resign over this, Mr "Grab them by the pussy" should also resign...

These cases need to be judged on an individual basis. When Bush grabbed the shoulders on Angela Merkel I don't think he was trying to get into her pants. Bush was either drunk or acting dumb.

Just get back to your high-tech lynching of Justice Thomas.

The bozo who was so determined to strike down gay marriage that he rationalized Jim Crow in the process? Thomas is not qualified to be on the court and never was. With or without the pubic hair on his coke, he isn't qualified.

What Franken did was bad but it’s nowhere close to as bad as what Trump has been accused of.
