iMovie Questions

I been using iMovie 09 for the past year or so and have made a bunch of movies using the supplied themes. There are only 6 themes in the app so I've pretty much used them all. Is there any way to get additional themes (ie download and import - either free or pay). I belive I read somewhere that I can import a iDVD theme but it sounded like a lot of work.

Also, I want to add 2 songs to a 4 minute movie. I would like to have it as the first song plays for about 2 minutes and then the second kicks in for the last 2 minutes. I would really like for both songs to be instrumental aside from the chorus parts. Is there a site that I can download that from? Or do I have to edit the vocals out of the tracks?

Weezer - Island in the Sun

Not sure, but you might check and see if you can import those songs into iTunes or Garage Band, then try and use Garage Band to edit out the vocals (?)

Thanks. I'll try garage band and see how that goes. Any ideas on how to get more themes?

Also, might want to try to look for Karaoke versions of the songs. Much easier than trying to splice them together and remove the vocals.

you can add sound tracks and play them softly and not use it as "background music" even though it is background music.

hey in iMovie 09 can you ACTUALLY encode more then one video or encoding the one video means you can't do anything else with iMovie?! Or at least do multiple encodes?

iMovie 08 you can't 🙁, and you can't even do slow motion! wtf?!
