After doing some research on how to immigrate to Japan, brazil, Australia, Canada and the USA I was REALLY surprised to find out that immigration is extremely difficult now a days. Its not like it was in the 1900s... where you could just get off a boat and find a job. I find it hilarious that immigration in brazil is a lot more difficult then in the US.

Immigration control in the US started out pretty racist. We allowed a heck of a lot more people to come into our country from western Europe than from any other place in the world.
It's kind of interesting how people complain that too many immigrants don't speak English. There was a time when only half of New York City spoke English.

It is indeed difficult. I'm currently in the process of immigrating into Canada to be with my wife. So far:
1) I had to get the FBI to do a background check on me, which I passed.
2) I had to get a medical exam done, at my expense, 7 hours away.
3) My wife has to sponsor me, proving she can provide for me for up to 3 years.
4) I have to now wait up to 18 months for them to process it, and can't live/work up there in the meantime.
It's expensive and very difficult.

Antartica has not been decleared part of any nation yet(the US reserves the rights but choses not to)
! How are you enjoying your marriage if your not even with here! I know the US has K-1 visas which allows your spouse to live here while all the papers are processed.On a side know, I'm wondering what would happen if someone completely lost ALL of their documents (passports, birth cirtificates) and had general amnesia? What would a country do about that?

The United States has no immigration policy, for all intents and purposes. Our borders are a joke.
Of course I do. If it wasn't such a hassle to do it legally, THERE WOULDN'T BE SO MANY FVCKING GODDAMN ILLEGALS.
