hello all
i have a some kind of big trouble , i just bought my h100i today and install it on the processor and run the computer for 10 to 20 second only not longer then i take the block off from the processor to reinstall the fan ( i forget about the thermal compound at this moment ) , and i install the block again after 2 min , should i replace the thermal compound !? please help me because i am very anger and sad 🙁🙁🙁

The H100 comes with a layer of thermal paste already installed. If you took it off and put it back on, your PC isn't going to melt, but I would prefer to simply add a small amount of new thermal paste to make sure it is well covered. Also, can't tell if trolling.

Not trolling, obvious language barrier going on is all.

Sounds like the OP's CPU overheated in a matter of 20 seconds. So me that can only be due to bad install of the H100i.

Even if there was no TIM, the H100i would still be able to keep non-load temps below TJmax. (In the past I ran my H100 without TIM just to check how bad the metal-to-metal interface would be)

So this must be a bad install of the H100i. The OP needs to remove it and check the standoffs to ensure they are actually fully installed. If they aren't done right then the H100i won't make the right contact with the IHS.
