Immediate help needed

I just finished building this dual monitor setup and I have a problem w/one of the monitors blinking suddenly. Has anyone heard of this problem? I have:
3500+
neo2 plat
1gb gskill le
74gb raptor
evga 6800 ultra
and 2 x 2001fp's

It only happens on the main monitor. So i'm thinking its the card.

Check the cable and its connection......Also check to make sure card is fully seated...

does it do this if you only have one monitor installed???

What kind of monitor? New? Old?

ok it seems like it only happens when i'm updating HL2. by the way i have 2 new dell 2001fp's.

well... then don't worry about it? I have no idea why that would be the case, but if that's the only time it happens it's not a big deal, right?

So what does it do exactly? The picture goes away and comes back real quick every now and then?

If anything that would mean a bad video card. If you can still RMA it, then I say do that.

Yeah But it seems like it does it only when I have half life 2 on.

You didn't mention what kind of psu you have.. maybe hl2 demands more power to run.. hence the flicker...? just as theory tho.

Does it do it just when you are starting up half life 2 or does it continue doing it? If it's when its starting up, it's probably just changing resolutions..

I switched the cables in the back of the video card around and it seems to have subsided. weird.

I rma'd it today.

I have the same problem. For me it is a DVI connection to a PCI card.
