I am interested in purchasing some cologne, but I dont want to pay the outrageous prices...

So I am looking at imitation cologne...I found one that imitates the tommy hilfiger one (http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=545879368)

The only bad thing I have heard about imitation cologne is that it doesn't last too long, where as real ones last for about 12 hrs...I am not to worried about it- I just need something that smells like the real thing, and lasts for a couple hrs...

Has anyone tried imitation cologne?

Thanks!

That is all I use.. why pay $60+ for a small bottle of liquid that smells good.. when it costs like 1 cent to make and you can buy the imitation stuff that smells the exact same. So what if it doesn't last for 12 hours, you would get sick of the smell if it lasted that long anyways

No. I only buy stuff when it's on sale anyway. Bought some Polo Sport for $30... and its not the small bottle either.

lol you people are suckers for branding. There is NO difference between the fakes and the real stuff, they chemically reverse engineer the mixes. Only difference you will usually see is the fakes will leave out the dye's that turn the real stuff yellowish. If you are concerned about your "image" buy a small real bottle and refill it with the fake stuff.
