Their movie of the day is "Reservoir Dogs," and they comment that "By now its hallmarks are numbingly familiar: morally bankrupt but witty characters; snappy rapid-fire dialogue; flashy shifts in perspective and style; hyper-violence; and of course, somewhere, sought by everyone, a big bag of money. These gimmicks have been done to death , so it is difficult to remember just how fresh, inventive, and eye-popping they were when Tarantino's dream first became real.
