wished they at least left it as read only as an archive.

Yea it sucks. I often go on there after watching a movie to get other people's perspective on certain scenes or answers on common questions. Yea the amount of trolling on there can be annoying but I think the amount of good posts outweigh the bad ones.

I think a lot of their traffic are the forums so let's see how long before Amazon reverses their decision.

That's a shame. I actually really liked going there after seeing a movie for the first time (or finishing a TV series) to see what other people thought.

They were plenty of trolls, sure, but the ratio was nowhere near as bad as YouTube/twitter/etc.
