Imation 12x cdr 50pack FREE after rebate @ OD B&M..

HA- you lucky dogs- after spending 45+ min haggling with them, they gave me 1 at $15. They said 1) they were making an EXCEPTION to the normal policy which is to match the AFTER REBATE cost and 2) since both best buys in town were out of stock, 3) they weren't obligated anyway.. They wanted to give it to me for $25, then I'd send in the $15 rebate and get the $10 Best Buy after rebate price.

I kept showing them their policy which doesn't state anything about in stock or rebate, but I know I've got to not go back there for a while!! I wish there was anoth anandtecher here to lay the groundwork and teach these guys, and I would ride in his/her wake!

I'd like a clarification from the corp office. Maybe I'll call them next week.

i went there today WITHOUT a flyer (i wasn't going to pick them up initially, but decided to at the last minute) and i told them i wanted to pricematch it with best buy which had it for $15, and they could call if they wanted to. the girl talk to some fat lady (the manager, i assume) and came back and gave it to me for $14.99...without even calling best buy...then i ask for a rebate and she gives me a $15 off rebate for a maxell spindle, and luckily i read it before leaving and asked for the right one, yada yada yada, and walked out pretty happy...hope these damned rebates come in.

Well, thanks for the post, because I bought a pack last night. We have a Best Buy and Office Depot next to each other. Talk about convenience! Anyway, Merry Christmas. Can't do much better than $1.11 for this deal. Love it!
