My mom bought a Laptop, outside of work she's never been on a computer and doesn't like them much. She also bought a digital camera. She's not a technical person at all. I know if I don't help her out she'll be emailing family member pics that are like 2.5 megs each, she has no concept of size. I was going to load the Lappy up with Picassa which I think is would be a pretty good viewer and organizer, even for somebody totally new to computers. But for resizing what's good? The less options the better.

Does it have Vista? Windows Photo Gallery is quite capable as well.

For easy resizing use the Windows Image Resizer Powertoy.
 
yeah it has Vista, I will have to try what you mentioned so I can teach her but that's good it comes with tools. I'm so use to XP I forget Vista does have some nice add-on's.
