Image jumpy on Apple monitor on pc

I have a 1994 Apple Multiple Scan 20 monitor, which doesnt use vga standard wires, connected to a db15 to vga dongle, which connects to a vga to dvi dongle which goes to my aiw 9800 pro.

For some reason, when im on my desktop, esp. near the corners, the picture seems to wiggle a bit...or pulse, or something...its kinda hard to describe. seems to happen only on high refresh rates & resolutions...could just be me tho...

it doesnt seem to happen in fullscreen 3d games, but maybe its just harder to detect. even on hte desktop its not that big of a problem, but its just a little disorienting.

if you check out apple's spec page for it, it says its got the resolutions im using in VESA mode..which i've never heard of...maybe that's the reason, despite my using the db15 to hd15 adaptor

thanks

That's a pretty old monitor, it might be nearing the end of its' life. You should probably use a lower Refresh Rate to get some use out of it.

hrmm didnt know that would effect it...sometimes its more wobbly than usual...gottta figure out exactly when..maybei can find th resaon
