I have a bootable DVD that contains a unattended install for XP, but the problem that I am running into is that I have several computers without DVD drives that I need to deploy this to. I can't seem to figure out to get the boot part to the disk to the USB key, the DVD doesn't contain any autoexec.bat or config.sys traditional boot files, just a WINNT.SIF file and some wierd combination of a BOOTCD.ISO that it somehow scripts to, then the script starts which points to some Norton Ghost Image files....very very peculiar DVD indeed. I can copy the DVD just fine and the copy boots, but for the life of me I cannont image the DVD to a USB key and have it be bootable....any ideas?

I tried using ghost, but it cannot create an image of optical drive (I was 2003 version), and I have True Image from Acronis, but when port the DVD image to the USB key, it wants to move everything into another directory called (D Drive) then inside that the drive contents seem intact....but that somehow craps out the boot sector I imagine...

Thanks?

If you have Ghost and Acronis, why not just make a standard image (ie Ghost) and then make your USB drive bootable DOS based to boot from it, map a network drive, then run ghost and pull the image down.

Might be slow doing a full install off the USB drive...
