Hehe, thats what good airflow can do inside a case. Yeah good job on the rework. You might want to try to overclock that baby a tad bit higher now since u have more headroom 😛

I haven't heard those brands being recommended before, but it sounds like you identified a problem that was affecting your cooling and solved it in a cost-effective manner. That's how I try to approach things too!!
