I'm @ work and this semi-cute girl came up to me...

and said "do you have a windows 95 cd here?"

I'm a campus lab assistant, I manage the lab server and nef here for $10 an hour.

I thought to myself, "wtf?" and said, "err, sorry the PCs we use only have windows 2k pro?"

girl: well, is there a win95 disc I can borrow so I can have it installed on my old comp?
me: (now really thinking WTF) that would be software piracy
girl: ??
me: ....
girl: ......?
me: why would you want a win95 disc anyways?
girl: because I have a really old computer...
me: you can just buy the OS at the store etc...
girl: they sell 95 at the store?
me: hmm not the 95...

*at this point my job here as a lab assistant was done. A fleeting thought of helping her out came to my mind, but the girl wasn't cute enough :p (or smart enough)

you'd be surprised to see many many similar or worse threads that have no point whatsoever:

So she inquires about getting Win95 for a PC that's too old to run Win2K, you mention something about software piracy and suggest that she purchase Win95 from the store without realizing that they don't have it anymore. And you're complaining that she's not smart enough (or apparently "cute" enough) to meet your standards?

you forgot all those really long and drawn out YACT's...started by that one guy...what was his name??? I forget, but anyways there were about thirty of them started within a couple weeks, and they all sucked worse than an eighty year old toothless whore
