Man when I read about how easy this setup was I couldn't believe that it was really that easy...but it was. I had read about upgrading the firmware on the SMC so I had that ready to go when it came in. The only hiccup was in not reading the install guide and trying to jump ahead I failed to notice that I was supposed to release\renew after it was hooked up. After that it was golden. As soon as I booted up my laptop downstairs it immediately grabbed the IP address and was off to the races. The connection ranged from good to excellent. I could not notice any degradation in my surfing from either system. The upstairs system is hooked via ethernet cable to the SMC.
This is a great combo if you are on the fence about going wireless at your house
