In the same way you would have meet tenth of thousands of italians dancing and singing with Indians and Pakistani during the last indian culture festival in Rome. They are definitely not one of the most liberated nations in my opinion because of the rampant racism there. Lots of people like to even pretend that they've always been tolerant and only recently they've changed, but I disagree with that too based on my own experiences and the experiences of others I know.

Yes. I've been to the Netherlands and experienced a lot of racism there. Many members of my family have experienced racism there, too, especially during the 70s and 80s. I was actually almost born there, but my parents were warned not to come to a place where you can't truly feel Dutch.

However, that's just anectodal though.

Because my stats come from the elections results... it's funny that those 66% of the people that you say are racist vote for left wing party that actually ask for a more free immigration policy. Why do they do that? And about Rome you have misunderstood. In Italy they don't even re-impatriate immigrants with no documents, unless they commit a crime.

You are thinking too narrow-mindedly. Far-right ideas spread from fringe far-right parties into the mainstream. You have to look at more than just election results of fringe parties. Plus, it's pretty easy to see examples of xenophobic parties get more than 3% to 4% of votes. France & Le Pen, Switzerland and the Swiss People's Party, etc.

Actually, Amsterdam's eroding tolerance towards gays has been in the media often recently. I wouldn't call it 100%. Again, you completely forgot about racism when thinking about being liberated, and the Netherlands suffers severely from that.
